How far can love stretch...
I love my little family! I have the greatest man that I am so so lucky to have! James is amazing, he spoils me more than I deserve and is there for me like no one ever has been. I love him so so much. Then there are our kids, lol. They are covered in hair and don't speak a word of English... well unless I'm speaking for them :o). I love Wigger so so much! Strangest cat ever put on this earth, but he has his reasons. He's moody and likes his space, but when he wants to snuggle you better be ready for some head-butts and a heavy blob on your chest. Phoebe on the other hand hates to be left out of anything going on and will be a part of it whether invited or not. She loves showing off and can't live without her toys. Now when you combined Wigger and Phoebe it's quite a show. Wigger usually is extra annoyed and hisses and bats at Phoebe. While Phoebe barks and tries to get him to play. I love them both so so much and often find myself worrying if I pay equal attention to them both or if I've subconsciously chosen favorites.
Now we have a new baby coming! I'm so excited! We're getting a little boy beagle!! He's so so cute and I'm so excited to hold him and see him in person! I know he'll make a great companion for Phoebe and I'm sure he'll annoy Wigger even more than Phoebe does. It seems that this puppy will complete our little family for now and keep James and I too busy for our own good. I worry though... how far can love stretch? I don't want to pay less attention to Phoebe and Wigger, but I know that this new puppy will take some on that attention... and does attention = love?
I spoil my kids and I will spoil all three of them when our new little boy gets here, but it's funny where and when they get spoiled. Wigger gets water from the bathroom sink every morning and tuna juice anytime I make a sandwich. He gets belly rubs and long hugs and that's just the start of it, not to mention how James spoils him, which I know adds to the list. Phoebe gets toys and her own bed, treats for tricks and for just being cute, she sleeps with us, travels with us, even showers with us! So with all of those special times spent with our kids.... where will this new puppy fit in!? I hope he finds his little niche just like the other two have. I'm so excited to see him and Phoebe play and work as a team to torment Wigger! I'm excited for family pictures and fun Christmas cards!! I just hope that love stretches just far enough to keep everyone so so warm in my heart.

No longer 23...
Wow... yesterday was my 24th birthday and let me just say that it was very nostalgic. I constantly found myself thinking about how many things had changed in my life throughout the past year.
The 23rd year of my life was destined to be horrible and lonely... or at least that's what I had built it up to be while preparing for my 23rd birthday. Low and behold fate had plans to smack me in the face with some amazing things through out the year to come. Mourning turning 23 was short lived that's for sure! In less than a month I was playing halo, when I met a really memorable opponent. We played for several hours and before I logged off for the night, he said something I'll never forget, "If I knew your name, I'd tell you goodnight." With that this guy had caught my attention. We continued to play for several days which lead to some myspace stalking... instant messaging... text messaging... and finally a phone call that lasted way longer than either one of us thought it would. It's amazing how life throws things in your face in a way that just makes you shake you head and think, "ok ok I get it, thanks!" Anyway.... long story short I met the man I now love with all my heart... yes... on Halo! :o)
He was just the first of many blessing to come in the year of 23 for me. I had surgery to fix my arm which was painful, frustrating, and very humbling. I had a great holiday season with James by my side helping me tie my shoes, wrap Christmas presents, mainly being an extra pair of hands while I only had one. Not to mention giving me tons and tons of reasons to love him more!
After the holidays were over I began reading... and reading... and reading, which is now one of my favorite pass-times.
I was lucky enough to spend Valentines day in Seattle with James, eating at the Space Needle and feeling very very loved!! I got to meet James' family and we actually went and picked out our little girl puppy when she was 3 weeks old!!!
After that trip and many many MANY more LOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG phone conversations James and I decided that the greatest thing we could do was to be in the same state!!! So in April James moved down to Pocatello and bringing our little girl puppy with him, joined me and Wigger to make my house, OUR HOME!!!
Summer brought fun trips with friends that have formed a place in our hearts and memories that we will have forever! Home improvement projects that turned out great (thanks to James and DJ). Lots and Lots of turn apart puppy toys. A new car. And in August I was offered the job that is now my career and passion. I am the Store Manager of Zales Jewelers which I love... who wouldn't like playing with Diamonds all day!? I DO!!!!!
As you can see this past year has brought me so so sooooooo many blessings. To see it end yesterday had it's sad moments, but knowing that my blessings will be there with me to enjoy the 24th year (among many MANYmore) makes me look forward to what is to come!!! What will this year bring!? I can't wait to see!!!
